Here's an outline list of the events we have planned over the coming year. Details, such as speaker lists and registration processes, will be linked here and circulated through our emails and newsletters as they are arranged. Do contact the Network coordinator, j.woods@bath.ac.uk, if you are particularly interested in any of these events - places may be limited, so we would like to book you in early!

20th March 2014, Royal Society, London

  • A collaboration-building event for the EPSRC Manufacturing Advanced Functional Materials Call - fixed numbers mean this event is only open to Network members and registration is compulsory. Please contact j.woods@bath.ac.uk for more details

1st & 2nd May 2014, NPL, Teddington

  • Observing Measuring & Controlling Molecular Assembly - a meeting to study how best we can follow molecular assembly processes, with current and future instrumentation. Full details.

3rd June 2014, Porous Materials from Porous Molecules, Liverpool

  • Kindly hosted for the Network by Professor Andy Cooper

24th June 2014, Leeds

  • by request of the community, an informal event bringing together those working on biological membranes with those working on inorganic surfaces, to share ideas and techniques.

6th-11th July 2014, Cambridge

  • The Directed Assembly Network's first Summer School for Early Career Researchers - giving an inspirational overview of the challenges of molecular assembly, across all our research themes. More details.

4th & 5th September 2014, Birmingham

  • The annual meeting around our Biological & Biomimetic Assembly Theme

20th & 21st October 2014, P&G Innovation Centre, Egham

  • ProcessAbility - the follow-on to our successful CrystallisAbility meeting held at Syngenta in 2013.
